TUESDAY 27TH January @ 07:15:- A mild and a cloudy with clear spells mix to start across the forecast area. Perhaps some brightness through the day, but a generally cloudy day, but expected to stay dry, apart from some spits&spots in places. Temperatures peaking at 7°C(45°F), perhaps 8°C(46°F). Wind - Perhaps a tad breezy in places with gust potential to 20mph and generally from the West.

EVENING & OVERNIGHT: Looks set to be cloudy through the period, but generally dry. Temperatures remaining on the mild side, falling to 4°C or 5°C.

OUTLOOK:- Wednesday sees a mild start, with a lot of cloud and increasingly breezy. Outbreask of patchy rain soon reaching the forecast area, quickly followed by a more active cold front, likely bringing a briref more persitent/heavier spell of rain late morning. Birghter skies will follow into /through the afternoon. Temperatures peaking at 7°C through the morning, but will fall 3°C or 4°C with the clearance of the cold front. Becoming very breezy with gust potential to 40mph in places and veering SW to WNW, making it feel several degrees colder than actual air temperature through the afternoon.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:- UPDATED Tuesday 27th January @19:10: A colder spell on the cards from Wednesday afternoon into and possibly through the weekend. A couple of cold fronts cross the forecast area into Wednesday afternoon and as the associated rain clears, there is possibility of some sleet/wet snow. Into Wednesday evening, further potential for snow showers across the forecast area, perhaps giving a dusting in places by Thursday morning, with further snow showers possible through the day.
