FRIDAY 12th FEBRUARY 2016 UPDATE @ 06:30:- A cold, frosty start across the forecast area, with temperarues falling to -3.1°C here at WeatherWatchHQ. Some bright spells through the day, with a risk of an isolated shower in places. Temperatures slow to rise through the day, eventually peaking at 5°C or 6°C mid afternoon. Wind - Not too breezy, with gust potential 10 to 15mph, but from the E/ESE so making it feel a couple of degrees cooler than actual air temperature at the higher gusts,

EVENING & OVERNIGHT:- Some clear spells through the period allowing temperatures to fall close to freezing across the forecast area. Wind - light at first, increasing through the early hours.

OUTLOOK :-Saturday sees a day of bright spells with the risk of a wintry shower in places, particularly to the S/SE of the area. Temperatures struggling through the day, peaking at 6°C or 7³C. Wind - Gust potential 25mph+ and generally from the E/ENE making it feel 3 or 4 degrees at times with the stronger breeze/gusts in places.
